Article V

CO-CURRICULAR ORGANIZATIONS
    Section 1. A UA&P-CAS co-curricular organization (CCO) shall be defined as an SEB-recognized organization which complements academic theory through formative activities according to its objectives. The CCO’s objective shall be in line with the corporate vision of the College.
    Section 2. In order to be recognized by the SEB, a CCO shall:
        1.1 fulfill the required minimum number of members established by the Co-Curricular Committee (CoCuCom);
        1.2 have at least one substantial and formative project or activity per semester according to the criteria determined by the CoCuCom;
        1.3 furnish the CoCuCom with a copy of its constitution;
        1.4 submit a list of its activities at the beginning of each semester and any time thereafter whenever necessary;
        1.5 participate actively in the Council of Co-curricular Organizations (CoCCO); and
        1.6 adhere to the policies of the CoCuCom.
    Section 3. The CoCCO shall be the association of all SEB-recognized organizations. Its objectives shall be to ensure proper coordination and effective teamwork among the CCOs.
        1.1 The CoCCO shall be composed of one representative from each member-organization. These representatives shall be fully empowered to make CoCuCom decisions binding upon his own organization.
        1.2 The CoCCO shall hold regular meetings convoked and chaired by the CoCuCom.
    Section 4. Applicant organizations that are vying for SEB recognition shall apply to the CoCucom.
        1.1 Upon initial approval of the CoCuCom, an applicant organization shall undergo a probationary period of one semester.
        1.2 The CoCuCom shall monitor and evaluate the applicant organization during its probationary period and submit a recommendation to the SEB.
        1.3 The SEB shall decide on the granting of recognition to the CCO.
    Section 5. SEB-recognized organizations seeking to maintain their status shall fulfill the criteria stipulated in Section II of this article.
    Section 6. All SEB-recognized CCOs shall have the following benefits:
        1.1 use of the school’s name;
        1.2 access to available facilities;
        1.3 representation in the COR;
        1.4 membership in the CoCCO;
        1.5 SEB assistance on academic accreditation of projects.
    Section 7. All projects and activities of CCOs requiring the use of the school’s name shall be approved by the SEB.
    Section 8. The SEB has the right to withdraw its recognition from any CCO at any given time for any violation of this Constitution.
