The Entrepreneurial Management Program

The Entrepreneurial Management Program, which is under the School of Management (SMN), is a four-year, three-summer Bachelor’s Degree Program for the young who want to set up and nurture their own businesses, and ultimately develop these businesses into lasting enterprises. In other words, the Program is for aspiring business owners and employers (not employees).
The Program admits “entrepreneurial-minded” high school graduates. As an EM student, you will undergo a comprehensive and ambitious program that will equip you with the right blend of knowledge, skills, and values to start and run a business a year before graduation. You will also be given the right impetus to continue to learn by doing even after you graduate.
The goal of the EM Program is to prepare you for life. The Program should elicit and generate in you a strong desire for happiness. Through the curriculum and your student life, the Program hopes to provide you with opportunities to develop your competencies, attain emotional maturity and stability, acquire strategic skills, and develop the values and virtues necessary for you to become a successful and fulfilled entrepreneur.
A distinctive and critical component of the Program is the EM mentoring system. The EM mentoring system consists of interventions that seek to achieve the integration of the human, spiritual, doctrinal, and professional/cultural dimensions of your life. The end goal of this integration is unity of life. The focus of the interventions in the first two year levels is personal formation, while the focus of the interventions in the last two year levels is professional development.
You are encouraged to take full advantage of the mentoring sessions. The mentoring sessions for personal formation are strictly confidential, conducted in the spirit of friendship and always observing respect for the freedom of the individual.
Knowledge and observance of the various policies contained in the main body of the Handbook, as well as those contained in this section, are important guideposts for a meaningful and enjoyable life in the University.
