Article VII

Committees
    Section 1: The Entrepreneurial Management Student Assembly shall have permanent committees (COMELEC and the FFC) and ad hoc committees which may be organized as the need arises.
    Section 2:
        2.1 The Fact-Finding Committee (FFC) shall act as a quasi-judicial body that will investigate all issues, whether internal or external, brought to its         attention     concerning EM students.
        2.2 The FFC shall act as a moderator and/or mediator in conflict situations among students. This should enable the students to civilly and peacefully     resolve problems or conflicts they may have among themselves.

        2.3 For disciplinary cases involving any EM student, the Fact Finding Committee shall conduct its own investigation to be able to credibly represent the         student involved in the resolution of the case.
        2.4 The Fact-Finding Committee shall be composed of five members:

a) the two (2) Class Presidents of the Year Level where the concerned student belongs
b) the President of the Board
c) the Vice President for Internal Affairs of the Board
d) a Class President randomly selected from the other Year Levels where the concerned student does not belong

    Section 3:
        3.1 The Election Committee (COMELEC) shall act as a quasi-judicial Committee that will organize, conduct and manage the election of the members of         the Board.
        3.2 The COMELEC shall enforce and administer all rules and regulations relative to the conduct of the election.
        3.3 There shall be (2) elections that will be held: one, to elect the members of the Congress and another, to elect the members of the Student             Executive Board (EMSEB).
        3.4 The COMELEC for the election of the members of the Congress (i.e. class officers of all year levels), for the forthcoming school year shall be         composed of all the incumbent class presidents of all year levels of the current school year. Specifically,

 

a) The COMELEC for the election of officers for the incoming Freshmen shall be composed of the outgoing class presidents of the current Freshmen.
b) The COMELEC for the election of officers for the incoming Sophomores shall be composed of the outgoing class presidents of the current Sophomores.
c) The COMELEC for the election of officers for the incoming Juniors shall be composed of the outgoing class presidents of the current Juniors.
d) The COMELEC for the election of officers for the incoming Seniors shall be composed of the outgoing class presidents of the current Seniors.

        3.5 The COMELEC for the election of the members of the EMSEB shall be composed of the two (2) highest ranking outgoing Board Members who are not         in the voting population or the two (2) highest ranking outgoing Seniors.
    Section 4: The Board has the right to organize other committees that may be deemed necessary for the Board to carry out its functions, plans and/or projects more effectively. These committees may be adhoc in nature, i.e. organized for a specific purpose on a non- permanent basis.
