Academic Probation

If you incur failing grades (3.50) in 16% to 19.99% of your total cumulative unit load at the end of any one semester (6 to 8 units for the 1st semester of your freshman year), you will be placed on academic probationary status for the following semester. If you are a student placed on academic probation, you should:
1. Complete no less than 15 units for the semester you are on probation;
2. Pass all the subjects enrolled in for the probationary semester; and
3. Behaviorally manifest your ability and willingness to meet the demands of the Program.
Failure to meet any one of the three conditions enumerated above will warrant your separation from the Program at the end of the probationary period. You cannot be placed on academic probationary status more than once during your entire stay in the EMP. Should you again incur failing grades in 16% to 19.99% of your total unit load at any time after being placed in academic probation, regardless of tenure, you will be asked to leave the EM Program.
